Jonix (b. 1998 - Humacao, Puerto Rico) is a Florida based photo-artist. The inspiration for his work comes from personal experiences that he is able to narrate through the visual language of photography. The photographs aim to achieve a relational experience where the viewer can begin to consider their own memories in relation to jonix’s. His practice is unique as he combines his love for photography with his passion of creating tangible pieces to use in his work. Jonix believes the process of making these pieces adds an extra layer of meaning and creativity to his work which allows him to express his artistic vision.
